The new Acer Aspire 7600U is a computer in one of
the Taiwanese company that incorporates the new operating system Windows 8. One
of the main attractions of this machine is its touchscreen 27 "with which
you can make the most of this system to use touch-oriented and has a main
interface similar to Windows Phone. In addition, we are on the inside with a
powerful processor of the third generation of Intel Core chips and memory 1TB
hard drive format. For now, do not know the official release date and reference
price are $ 1,900 (could reach a similar price in euros).
This all-in-one computer features an LED-back lit
display with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and ability to
recognize up to 10 simultaneous pressure points. Acer Aspire 7600U team noted
for its fine design through dimensions of 66 x 47 x 3.47 inches and weighs 10
kilos. Support is designed to provide good flexibility to find the right angle
for viewing the contents of the screen. The processor included in this model is
the Intel Core i5-3210m dual core with a power of 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0
technology, you can power up to 3.1 GHz and through Hyper-Threading can work as
if present in four physical cores. On the other hand, users who want more power
can incorporate an Intel Core i7-3630QM.
This is complemented by a powerful RAM of 8 GB. Acer
has chosen to prioritize storage capacity over performance with the inclusion
of a 1TB hard drive (SSD memories offer more speed, but have less capacity and
more expensive). While reviewing the graphics power of the team, thanks to the
NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics card with dedicated memory of 2 GB.
As for the connectivity of this team will have a
full range of connections, including two USB 3.0 ports (one protocol that
allows data transfer speeds ten times faster than USB 2.0) also has four USB
2.0 ports, HDMI (with which we can display HD content on a TV), WiFi and
Bluetooth.
The system chosen for this computer is Windows 8, a
strong focus on touch devices that has its own interface for mobile devices,
while still maintaining the desktop itself from previous versions. A major absence
of this system is the elimination of the start menu, which may require some
time to get used. But improvements have been interesting as the new managing
file transfers or a new task manager clearer and more accessible.
